General Notes
Arthur Delaney is famous for paintings of Manchester featuring trams. As far as we are aware, this is the only painting he ever did of Sheffield.
Moorhead is at the junction of Pinstone Street, The Moor, and Furnival Gate in Sheffield and welcomed Queen Victoria it was also home to the Crimean War Monument.
The Monument was erected in 1861 in memory of the Sheffield soldiers and sailors whose lives were lost in The Crimean War. The statue on the top of the monument is Queen Victoria. This striking monument was dismantled in the 1960s and is currently in a council store.
